Advent Calendoodle....

I've created a continuous line advent calendar in the lead up to Christmas...wintery based illustration videos where you create a picture without lifting pen from paper....

Life of a freelancer....

So, its been a quiet couple of weeks workwise. I have had to get myself organised to get my portfolio up to scratch and up to date...something I've not done for a very long time!

Today I think I've finally got something to send out to people. It's not easy being a critique of your own work.

I've found it pretty hard, especially creating something to show of skills in a small enough format to email...

Anyway so here's the cover!

A Kinder Surprise!

Spotted in the shops my Kinder chocolate bar illustrations!

I'm in Harrods!

After an instagram collaboration with sign painter @nikthebrush - who suggested my name for a project at Harrods. My illustrations can now be seen on the walls of the baby layette department - beautifully painted onto the expensive wallpaper by Nik himself.

Here are a few of the photos taken before opening and I'm hoping to go and visit soon!....

Just a card?

Tomorrow is "just a card" day - a day to encourage people to support independent shops, artists and makers  - with the theory that if everyone bought something small like "just a card" it would keep our small business alive and the sole traders going.... so I'm showing my support to my fellow independents and artists and makers!
